Since joining the firm in 2000, Nicola Lowe has built an exceptional reputation in the Wimborne area for her expertise in a variety of legal disciplines. She specialises in Wills, Probate and all aspects of work relating to the older people including Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyship Applications. Nicola was also head of the busy conveyancing department for several years and has vast experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing and related property matters.
Before qualifying as a solicitor Nicola was a nurse working in the community with older patients and as a result, has experience of dealing with those suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease and those who have been bereaved. Nicola has empathy and compassion when dealing with older clients, and has been instrumental in ensuring that all staff are “Dementia Friendly” trained.
An active member of the Bournemouth and District Law Society, Nicola is also one of a team of solicitors who provide an advisory service at the Wimborne Citizens Advice Bureau. In the past, she helped to organise a local charity event in Wimborne raising over £10,000 for Poole Hospital. Nicola is a trustee on the Board of Relate which is a charitable organisation supporting cross-border family relationships.
Having always lived in Dorset, Nicola enjoys reading, walking, cycling, cooking, and going to the theatre. Nicola also has a keen interest in homeopathic remedies and alternative therapies holds a Reiki practitioner certificate and is a Companion of the Chalice Well Garden in Glastonbury – a retreat for people of all faiths and denominations.
