MYTIME is a charity that aims to provide young carers with the support, friendship, and opportunities that every child deserves. Young carers are children and young people who provide regular care and support for a family member who is disabled, physically or mentally ill, or has a substance misuse problem.
MYTIME runs various social activities for youth caregivers to give them a break from their caring role. These activities can range from sports, arts and crafts, drama, cooking, and much more. The charity also provides one-to-one support and group activities to help young carers connect with others in similar situations, share their experiences and learn new skills.
Harold G Walker Solicitors were pleased to be able to support MyTime Young Carers this year with a £3000 donation. This generous donation has enabled over 100 young carers to take part in some well-deserved respite activities. The charity was able to organize day trips, overnight stays, and other fun activities that allowed these young carers to take a break from their caring responsibilities and simply be kids.
