Joanne Aked

Joanne joined our Residential Conveyancing department in 2022 as a Conveyancing Paralegal who manages her own caseload.  In her role, she helps her clients with all aspects of the residential conveyancing process, including first-time buyers moving into their first homes, families moving to larger properties, and people wishing to downsize.  Additionally, Jo can also advise on transfers of equity and re-mortgages, Voluntary First Registration always strives to achieve a stress-free transaction by being proactive, friendly, and approachable.

Prior to joining us, Joanne worked within the legal industry for over 20 years, starting in Yorkshire initially within the family department before spending the last 15 years in Residential Conveyancing in Yorkshire, Leicestershire, Hampshire and now Dorset having relocated to the area.

Joanne works primarily from our Broadstone office, where she manages her own caseload and provides support to other members of the team. However, she also travels to our other offices as needed, working collaboratively with her colleagues to ensure that clients receive a seamless and efficient service. This flexibility allows Jo to provide her expertise to a wider range of clients and to build strong relationships with colleagues across the firm. As a valued member of our team, Jo brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her role and is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure that clients receive the highest level of service possible.

Outside of work, Joanne has a passion for travel, culture, and languages. She enjoys speaking French and is currently learning Italian. Jo loves trying new foods and immersing herself in different cultures and has visited many countries around the world. In addition to her love of travel, Jo enjoys active sports like warrior events
